How do I order from an Artist using Yohjo?

When you see a piece of art or craft in an artist’s Yohjo gallery, which you would like to purchase, you should click on the artwork to bring you to the detailed artwork view. There you will see an option to add the artwork to your cart. Please click on ‘Add to Cart’ and then proceed to the checkout process. At this stage you will be required to register with Yohjo.com as a site user so that we can manage the order process. Alternatively, you will be required to login if already a user.

Can I purchase more than one product at time?

At this time, you will only be able to order one product at a time on Yohjo. If you see an additional piece of art which you would like to purchase, please go through the checkout process again for your second order.

How do I pay?

The purchase of products online through Yohjo can be paid for through your Paypal account. If you do not have a Paypal account, we recommend that you set an account-up at www.paypal.com for secure transactions online.

Is it safe to order online?

Yes, at present all Yohjo orders are processed through Paypal so your payment process is very secure and your credit card details are not exposed online.

When will Payment be taken?

When you pay for art online, your payment is placed in an escrow account with Yohjo until you confirm that the arts or crafts ordered have been delivered and are as represented on the site and are in good condition. If there is a problem with delivery or the condition of the artwork, the buyer is required to notify the artist and Yohjo within 48 hours of delivery so that a returns process can be initiated. It is important for buyers to note that individual artists may have a specific returns policies in place for their artwork through Yohjo.com.

When will I receive my order?

If your order is being delivered by a Yohjo approved carrier, you will receive tracking and delivery information once your order has shipped. The tracking number will allow you to monitor delivery progress during shipping.

If I don’t receive my order at the due date, what should I do?

What happens if I can’t sign for the goods?

If you or your nominee is not available to sign for the goods when they arrive, the Carrier will normally return the goods to their depot. You will be contacted by the Carrier to arrange for collection/delivery. Where Postal services are the means of delivery the procedure may differ from country to country so in that case you will need to liaise with your local post office, Yohjo and the artist until you have received the art or craftwork purchased.

What is the returns and refunds process?

If for any reasons your goods are not suitable, please notify the artist/craftworker and Yohjo within 48 hours of receipt of delivery. You will be required to complete a Return of Product form stating why the products were not suitable. Once you return the product to the artist/craftworker at your cost and in good condition, you will receive a full refund from Yohjo’s escrow account.

Are gift card options available?

Yes, gift cards are available on Yohjo.com. If you click on the Gift Card link you will be guided through the process.

How can I cancel an order?

If you wish to cancel an order, you must notify the artist/craftworker and Yohjo by email prior to shipping to confirm your intention to cancel. Once the cancellation request is received and processed, you will receive a full refund of your money.

Colour Variations onsite

Artists and craftworkers using Yohjo.com to display their artwork are requested to take great care to ensure that the art and craftwork displayed in their galleries is an accurate representation of the actual pieces of art. However, some small colour variations may occur from time to time between the image shown and the actual artwork itself. This is a result of the transfer process to digital image format.

Will there be additional duties/taxes payable on my purchases?

You may be liable for duty and customs charges on shipments depending on the shipping destinations. Please contact your local customs office for detailed information.

Are the goods insured?

Insurance cover is provided with certain shipping companies but this only relates to damage caused during shipping.
